What is the purpose of the ASF?
The Apana Scholarship Foundation aims to create a lasting legacy by enabling young people to fulfill their potential, either by achieving positions of leadership in their future professional disciplines or by overcoming disadvantages through opportunities for learning, skills development and community-based care that will positively impact their own lives as well as their communities.
How will you go about soliciting funds?
We plan to enact as many methods as possible to facilitate fundraising for the needy children of Ghana. As these plans come to fruition, they will be announced right here on our website.
What's the selection criteria for potential applicants?
The AS Foundation will identify and select young men and women from economically disadvantaged communities who have demonstrated academic talent, potential to lead, and commitment to giving back.
Will my donation be tax deductible?
Different governments have different policies, but yes, most donations can and should be tax deductible. Please check with your local Government representative.
Will you be sponsoring fundraisers?
Yes, we are planning several fundraisers per year, and hope to provide/procure as many as possible. Volunteers are always welcomed with open arms to help.
In what other ways can I help your foundation?
Please pass the word along to as many people and businesses as possible about our worthy cause. There is little in life that is more rewarding than helping the children.
